Parent Meeting

Thank you to everyone that attended our parent meeting on September 15th. In summary, we presented a tentative plan for our USA Spirit Nationals trip to the Anaheim Convention Center.  We received a resounding YES to pursue getting a bid as a Gameday performance team. Yay!  We will submit a Purchase Order for 27 athletes to move forward in the Crowdleader division with a plan to collect Competition Fees (Participation fees, Shuttle bus, Disney 2-day park hopper pass and flights. )  New this year...Parents will need to submit payment to West Linn HS for these competition fees by December 1st.  The remaining fees/Hotel, food and Nationals gear will hopefully be covered by our competition on January 17th.  If for some reason the competition doesn't happen (due to weather, or some unforeseen circumstance) parents will be responsible for the remaining balance due for the trip before we leave on February 19th. 

We received excellent feedback on fundraisers and we will purse

  • Snap Raise - this is a 21 day program that will be considered an individual fundraiser.  It will begin on September 29th. 

  • Winter Kids Clinic - This will be a TEAM fundraiser that will happen during basketball season

  • See's Candies - This will happen before the holidays and will be considered a team fundraiser.
